From his garage to the PGA Tour, Local 3’s Paul Shahen visits a local firefighter making custom golf ball markers currently being used by pros.

Paul Mason made a few for his firehouse coworkers one Christmas and from there his handmade hobby grew at a record pace.

Mason who used to caddy at The Honors Course used a connection there to provide custom handmade Honors Course markers that you can buy in the club house there.

In less than two years Mason’s custom ball markers will be in 20 course clubhouses from Chattanooga into North Georgia and Knoxville.

Not only that there’s a few PGA Tour golfers using his custom markers which including PGA Tour winners: Chattanooga Moc Stephan Jaeger and Sahith Theegala.

Mason hand makes each marker or bag tag in his garage, starting with a copper piece. You imagine it and he can make it happen.
